These collars are a very helpful training aid in rectifying any unwanted or bad behaviour your dog may show. You can use them for training your dog in all forms of obedience from sit, heel to come. They are an excellent tool to use if you have a dog that chases cars, cats or attacks stock, digs holes in the garden; jumps up at people, steals food. You name it, these collars can fix it.

All remote training collars consist of two parts, a receiver/collar that is worn around the dogs’ neck and a transmitter remote control held by you.

When your dog does something bad or unwanted, you interrupt him in the act by activating the spray. This does not punish the dog it just interrupts him for a moment and makes him ready for a different activity. The dog is actually surprised by this new element (the noise, sight of the cloud and smell) and becomes receptive to your demands again. Once the dog has complied with your command ensure you reward immediately and enthusiastically.

The citronella remote has two levels of spray. A Short spray and Long spray. A third button can be used as a warning tone or reward tone. This collar operates up to a distance of 100 meters.

Remote Training Collars - Small to large dogs
The collars operate by giving the dog a static shock. You set the level manually from the hand held remote.

When the dog commences an unwanted or bad behaviour you activate the hand held remote which in turn gives the dog a static shock from the collar around its neck. The dog learns that the unwanted behaviour has negative results for him, so he ceases the unwanted behaviour.
